South Kitsap Employees Will: 

 

Summary:

This position is responsible for Ready for K program set-up, coordinate annual Ready for K facilitator training, as well as support and train Ready for K facilitators on and for Saturday morning sessions.  The preferred individual for this position must have prior facilitator and program coordinator experience.

 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

 

  1. Perform recruiting efforts of (non-student) volunteers for the purpose of growing and supporting Ready for K program.
  2. Promote Ready for K program to South Kitsap community members (such as clubs, day cares, churches etc.) for the purpose of supporting local community and program growth.
  3. Coordinate and conduct program orientations for parents and Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) sessions.
  4. Coordinate and train program facilitators.
  5. Work closely with the District Teaching and Learning grant team to insure process and program expectations are being met.

The usual and customary methods of performing the job's functions require the following physical demands: some stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling; and significant fine finger dexterity.
